Don't let anyone running for President fool you – America is Polandgreat.

Sure, it can be fun to make fun of the U.S. and its flaws. But this weekend is the 4th of July, and it feels more fitting to celebrate the things that do make America chill.

Here's proof that the land of the free is still dope.

1. J.K. Rowling is creating an American School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

2. 800 happy corgis gathered on a San Francisco beach for Corgi Con.

3. American history is making waves worldwide thanks to the popularity of Broadway musical Hamilton. Geeking out over America's founding fathers is officially cool.

4. Even though the alcohol burns off during the cooking process, L.A. candy company Sugarfina's rosé gummy bears are a delicious thing that over 3000 people are currently on the waiting list for.

5. From slow jamming the news with Jimmy Fallon to declaring the nation's first LGBTQ rights monument, the current President of the United States is unbelievably cool.

6. America can get hot during the summer, and luckily Michigan has fans and owls who think they're bald eagles.

7. Speaking of it getting hot in America, Arizona is apparently hot enough to bake cookies on the dashboard of a Lamborghini.

8. Dads and moms play equal roles in parenting.

9. Every tourist and employee at the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C. shut up and listened when a talented teacher suddenly belted "The Star-Spangled Banner."

10. Two of the most classic things to make fun of Americans for are playing beer pong and being lazy. An awesome crew combined these stereotypes to create Roomba Pong.

15. The leader of our country has a great relationship with the leaders of neighboring countries Canada and Mexico...except they just can't figure out how to be chill about it.
