Both Tea Lizard and Smockin' are indeed memes, born in the darkness of Weird Twitter. We still believe the following reactions are normal, great responses to a confusing situation.
Today, we learned just how hard memes -- and muppets -- can be, courtesy of Good Morning America.

The olds in charge of social media over at America's premier morning show wanted to cash in on the meme-ification of Lebron James crying after the Cleveland Cavaliers won the NBA Finals Sunday. They did so by asking if the picture joined other hallowed memes like Crying Jordan, something called "Smockin" and "Tea Lizard."
While Smockin' is probably just a misspelling of "Smokin,'" The Mask's obnoxious catchphrase, Tea Lizard refers to the Kermit the Frog "But that's none of my business" meme.

As you would suspect, the sheer ridiculousness of GMA's tweet was not lost on a bewildered Internet.
