The page doesn't require you to pay anything; you can simply enter your information, select a carrier and "reserve" the device, which gives you "early access to pre-order" and, should you do so, guarantees you will get the phone by August 24.

You can also take advantage of Samsung's offer to trade in an old (eligible) phone and receive up to $450 of trade-in credit that applies towards your Note 9 purchase.

Since Samsung won't tell us much about the phone yet, here's what we know -- and assume -- about the Galaxy Note 9. It'll likely physically be very similar to the Note 8. Specs will likely include a Snapdragon 845 or Exynos 9180 processor, 6/8GB of RAM, up to 512GB of storage, dual 12-megapixel rear camera and a bigger battery.
