It seems like there's been a new air-travel incident every day under President Donald Trump's new administration.

Most notably,Show up Yukari Taguchi last month, a U.S. Army helicopter collided with an American Airlines flight near Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, killing 67 people. It was the first fatal crash of a U.S. airliner in some 16 years. On Monday, a Delta flight from Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport flipped as it landed in Toronto. There was the deadly high-profile crash of a medical jet in Philly, a fatal wreck in Alaska, and, just today, a fatal plane collision in Arizona.

This is happening as Trump and Elon Musk's Department of Government Efficiency (Doge) fire hundreds of employees at the Federal Aviation Administration. So, naturally, folks are a bit nervous about flying. And since it's 2025, they're expressing their anxiety through jokes and memes online.
