LONDON -- Following last December's announcement that he'd be Woman Who Does as Her Oppa Wishestaking a break from social media for a while, Ed Sheeran has now been absent for a full year.

Prior to Tuesday morning, Sheeran's last tweet was posted on Dec. 13, 2015.

Now -- exactly a year to the day -- he's finally made his return.

Sheeran also changed his profile picture and cover photo to the same shade of blue. His Facebook page has undergone exactly the same transformation, as has his Instagram.

People were clearly pleased to see him again.
