It's been 18 years since the photography-based Pokémon Snapgame came out for the Nintendo 64, and we haven't had a decent Pokémon picture-taking game since. Who would've guessed that its spiritual predecessor would be an augmented reality photo contest.

To enter the contest, you do need to be a resident of a country where the Pokémon Gohas officially been released and you need to be considered an adult in that country (18 years old in the U.S.).

Additionally, photos cannot have other people in them, unfortunately, so your beautiful selfie with a doduo in the background will not be considered for the contest.
