【Taming The Younger Sister-in-Law Origin [Uncut]】
Pour one out for Kim Kardashian: Hollywood,Taming The Younger Sister-in-Law Origin [Uncut] the ground-breaking mobile game that proved building games for women is serious business. As of today, the game is no longer available in app stores and will no longer offer in-app purchases. A post on the game's official message boards said current players would be able to use the app and its in-game currency until April 8, 2024.
When Kardashian announced the game in 2014, the press and general public scoffed at its simple concept: to rise through the ranks of Hollywood under the mentorship of Kardashian and assume your rightful place as an A-list celeb. But Kardashian would have the last laugh. Within six months, the game had raked in more than $74 million and become a certifiable phenomenon.
In 2019, Polygon's Petrana Radulovic named it one of the top 100 games of the decade, noting that it was "unapologetically tailored toward young women" and "was perhaps the biggest indication that a mobile game for girls could be successful."

The game decreased in popularity as the years wore on, but it still had a cult following. One report proposed that the game may have earned more than $8 million a year as recently as 2018.
According to players, the developer's lack of interest in the game had become noticeable in recent months. Just yesterday, a new petition on Change.org demanded more frequent updates to the game. "As a passionate fan of the Kim Kardashian: Hollywood game, I am deeply saddened by its current state," write the petition creator. "These updates were not just about new content; they were about keeping the community engaged and excited."
In a statement to TMZ, Kardashian said, "I'm so grateful from the bottom of my heart to everyone who has loved and played Kim Kardashian: Hollywoodin the past 10 years... I will be forever inspired by this community that we built together."
