Are these workouts even effective?Bengali Archives
A supercut of workout videos went viral for being — for lack of a better description — absolutely wild.
The screen recording posted to Twitter shows a trio of unsettlingly buff guys lifting weights while getting kicked in the abs, doing crunches while getting hit by medicine balls to the abs, and doing sick crunches underwater to strengthen the abs. At one point, one of the unsettlingly buff men sprint-flails on a treadmill, while the other two unsettlingly buff men hold him back with a resistance band.
Again, it's absolutely wild.

According to Digg, the videos are the work of Instagram trainer Devon Lévesque, whose unconventional workout videos are just as befuddling as the viral supercut shows.
In one video, Lévesque alternates side to side leaps with push ups like some kind of acrobatic protein shake-chugging Spider-Man.

In a different video, which is remarkably similar to another viral video of a lizard trying to chase down a bug on a tiled floor, the Instagram trainer works off his Thanksgiving binge by skittering on a treadmill on all fours.

In his magnum opus, he and a crew of fellow unsettlingly buff people create a human Rube Goldberg machine, doing backflips over each other's splits and doing handstands while runningon the treadmill.

How is an entire gym full of people functioning like this? How do they not tear every muscle in their bodies? Can any of these unsettlingly buff people run on a treadmill like a normal human being?
UPDATE: Dec. 11, 2018, 11:37 a.m. PST After publishing, Devone Lévesque reached out through Instagram DM to note that he trains clients in safe, more conventional workouts.
