【Pachinko Angel】
An iconic element of the Super Bowl is Pachinko Angelthe creative, fun commercials that debut between the action on the field. This was no different in 2024.
We got Tom Brady joining forces with Wayne Gretzky. We get visions of Jason Momoa joining the cast of “Scrubs.” There is a talking cat. Plus, a "Friends" reunion of Jennifer Aniston and David Schwimmer that one of them hates.
There were plenty of enjoyable commercials this year. Here are the best commercials from the 2024 Super Bowl.

Jennifer Aniston remembers Uber Eats, forgets David Schwimmer
It's been 20 years since “Friends” ended, but Jennifer Aniston and David Schwimmer still have chemistry. It shows in their Uber Eats commercial that also includes David and Victoria Beckham. Schwimmer may “hate this town” by the end of the commercial, but you’ll love the reunion of Ross and Rachel.
Michael Cera has ideas for CeraVe
CeraVe makes lotion. Michael Cera makes movies, including playing Allan in 2023's blockbuster hit "Barbie." In a very meta commercial, Cera pitches CeraVe on being a pitchman for the product in a commercial where he is the pitchman for CeraVe. It's laugh-out-loud funny.
‘30 Rock’ reunion with Glenn Close
It starts as a routine Booking.com commercial with Tina Fey, but then it becomes a “30 Rock” reunion with Fey joined by her former co-stars Jack McBrayer and Jane Krakowski. The kicker, Glenn Close comes riding in on a horse. Does it make sense? I’m not sure. But it’s fun.
BMW’s Christopher Walken impersonations
Do you think you have a good Christopher Walken impersonation? The Oscar-winner for “The Deer Hunter” does a great job dealing with impersonations, but he knows there is no impersonating his BMW — or Super Bowl halftime performer Usher for that matter.
Aubrey Plaza, Nick Offerman have a Baja Blast
Mountain Dew’s Baja Blast creates another NBC sitcom reunion with former “Parks and Recreation” co-stars Aubrey Plaza and Nick Offerman joining forces (while riding on dragons) to enjoy “Having a Blast.”
Danny DeVito helps out Arnold Schwarzenegger
Danny DeVito and Arnold Schwarzenegger were twins in the 1988 movie "Twins." For the Super Bowl, DeVito helped out his brother in a State Farm commercial. Well, DeVito thinks he helped. Schwarzenegger calls him a "back stabba."
BetMGM: Tom Brady has won enough
Vince Vaughn gets to promote BetMGM at the expense of former New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady, who has won seven Super Bowl titles. The best part is the surprise appearance by Wayne Gretzky, who onlywon four Stanley Cups with the Edmonton Oilers.
Jason Momoa sings about T-Mobile
Maybe you didn’t know that you needed Jason Momoa to sing a remake of the song “Flashdance … What a Feeling” with Zach Braff and Donald Faison, but T-Mobile makes a compelling case with this commercial about their internet service. Glad they don’t have to cancel this Super Bowl party.
Kate McKinnon’s cat says mayo
Kate McKinnon has a cat that can talk in this Hellmann’s Mayonnaise commercial. McKinnon’s cat isn’t as verbal as the famous horse Mr. Ed, but the cat can say, “Mayo.” And that seems to be enough for a love affair with Pete Davidson. You’ll have to watch the ad to understand.
Super Bowl LVIII is happening between the commercials
The Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers meet in Super Bowl LVIII at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on Sunday, Feb. 11. This is the first Super Bowl played in Las Vegas.
Kansas City came into the game after a 17-10 win against the Baltimore Ravens during the AFC Championship Game on Jan. 28. Patrick Mahomes threw for 241 yards and a touchdown in the win, and Travis Kelce caught 11 passes for 116 yards and a touchdown. Andy Reid is the Kansas City Chiefs head coach.
San Francisco enters the contest following a 34-31 victory over the Detroit Lions during the NFC Championship Game on Jan. 28. SF 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy threw for 267 yards and one touchdown during the victory, and Christian McCaffrey rushed for 90 yards and two touchdowns. Kyle Shanahan is the San Francisco 49ers head coach.
The 2024 Super Bowl marks Kansas City’s sixth Super Bowl appearance, and the Chiefs won three previous times (2022, 2019, and 1969 seasons).
Super Bowl LVIII represents the eighth Super Bowl appearance for the 49ers, and the franchise previously won the Super Bowl five times (1994, 1989, 1988, 1984, and 1981 seasons).
