【Naked Poison II】
Truly,Naked Poison II we live in a blessed universe. Sure, our planet is stricken by greed and disaster -- but we also have puggles.
Otherwise known as baby echidnas, puggles are the cutest creatures to ever come shuffling into existence. And now the world has got just a little bit warmer and fuzzier, thanks to a brand new puggle being born in Perth Zoo, Australia.
SEE ALSO: Stop everything: the nation's zoos are in a vicious, wonderful #CuteAnimalTweetOffThe adorable little thang was brought into the world back in September, and at the tender age of four months, it now weighs 1.6 kilograms and has an impressive set of lil' spikes.
Given the adorable, threatened monotremes are surprisingly hard to breed, the birth of this puggle represents a real achievement.
Seriously though, if short beaked echidnas ever go extinct, shame on the entire human race, because these creatures deserve nothing but our love, affection and protection.
The new puggle hasn't had it's gender of name determined yet, because it needs to have its DNA analysed first. Puggles have no external genitalia, you see.
But how about Poppy if it's a girl, and Pete if it's a guy?
