Internet lovers everywhere are Italyhonoring their favorite emoticons by celebrating World Emoji Day, and still trying to find a reason to use that file folder emoji.
Facebook observed the big day by releasing some impressive emoji usage facts, including that 60 million emoji are sent on Facebook everyday. But that's nothing compared to the average of 5 billionemoji sent every day through Messenger.

In fact, Facebook users across the globe are sending their friends love. The most popular emoji used throughout the world seem to be Face Throwing a Kiss, Smiling Face With Heart-Shaped Eyes, Heart, along with a slew of other smiling faces.

To commemorate the occasion, Facebook Messenger also released a line of 16 new stickers of emoji characters from the movie to use within the app. And not to worry -- there is a poop emoji sticker.
