【The Irresistible Daughter in Law】

It's been a rough couple of months for New Zealand. The The Irresistible Daughter in Lawcountry had a seabed raising-earthquake, and now it's dealing with the surprise exit of its prime minister.

To welcome this period of change, it only seems fitting that New Zealand's infamous "Beached Az" whaletoss himself back onto cartoon shores.

Like the music at the Oscars, the cartoon played off New Zealand's outgoing Prime Minister John Key in a new post with a cheeky parody of Elton John's "Candle In The Wind."

Key announced his resignation quite unexpectedly on Dec. 5, citing a desire to spend more time with family. He was replaced by self-proclaimed purveyor of boring Bill English, who was officially sworn inas prime minister Monday morning.

The fresh face of New Zealand told a reporter from The New Zealand Herald, "I specialise in being boring." Such self assurance in a socially unacceptable personality trait is almost admirable.

Since the announcement of his leadership, social media has been flooded by people a little amused that New Zealand's new leader is as interesting as a soggy cardboard box.
