Making movies and television shows can be a wasteful process. But when lights work more efficiently, it means the crew needs fewer generators and the demand for power is less, thus helping to decrease the carbon footprint of a given production.
LA-based lighting manufacturing company Hive makes high output, energy efficient plasma lighting specifically for the television and film industry.
Hive is part of a community of socially-minded innovators and entrepreneurs who make up the LA Cleantech Incubator(LACI) and are committed to finding clean tech solutions for California and beyond.
