Credit: ifixit Other things have been rearranged or combined to save space; for example, the Face ID's flood illuminator and dot projector have been merged into a single module, which is why Apple was able to make the notch on the iPhone 13 Pro some 20 percent narrower than on the iPhone 12 Pro.
